John Allen is the Founder and President of Quantum Marine Stabilizers. Coming from an engineering background and an apprenticeship with the Ministry Of Defense Royal Navy, John had the foundation to understand complex machinery. John quickly recognized the limitations of existing stabilizer technologies and the need for higher performance standards. Drawing on his marine engineering experience and engaging other capable minds, he founded Quantum with a single objective: to engineer and deliver the best marine stabilizers in the world.

Since 1985, John and the Dutch Innovation Team have driven Quantum’s most significant breakthroughs, including Zero Speed™ Stabilization, the MAGLift™ Rotor, the XT™ Fin, and most recently, the hybrid F45 power unit and most recently the e-FIN. More than 40 years later, John remains deeply involved in advancing Quantum’s technology, championing continuous improvements in performance, efficiency, and reliability. His leadership and vision continue to define the innovative culture at the heart of the Quantum brand.
