With over three decades of experience in marine industry, Robert’s experience and knowledge helps prepare and coordinate service projects of all sizes from system inspections to out of water scheduled maintenance. At Quantum, Robert leads the Ft. Lauderdale based service team providing coverage throughout North America, South and Central America, Canada, the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand.

Expertise & Contributions

Robert has over thirty years in the marine industry, with over seventy of those in the stabilizer field. He has worked with the Quantum engineering departments during the development of new projects to bring forward service compatibility in the field. He has also been a driving force behind training programs for service technicians to ensure Quantum provides the best quality of service in the industry.

Career Journey

Born and raised in Sarasota, FL, Robert grew up on the waters of the Gulf Coast. Learning to drive a boat before a car, he went into the US Coast Guard and spent most of those years as a machinery technician. After leaving the Coast Guard, Robert entered the yachting industry doing both deck hand and engineering duties. Working his way to a licensed captain, Robert switched careers to join Quantum in 2008. Starting as a service technician for many years, he then moved to Technical Support. There he provided service support for technicians and service coordination and technical support for customers. In 2001, Robert became the Production Manager for Quantum. During this time, he focused on quality and efficiency. In the summer of 2025, Robert returned to the service department to as the Service Manager.

“I enjoy hanging around our back patio and barbequing with my family and friends. Raising three children has been the most fulfilling time. I love auto racing. Everything from F1 to Endurance. As a family we go to several big events a year. We rent an RV and spend the weekend watching the action on the track”.
