SilverYachts, formerly known as Hanseatic Marine, was founded in 2005 by German entrepreneur, Guido Krass, to start the construction of the superyacht builder’s first vessel, M/Y SILVER (now RABDAN), officially launched in 2007. After its launch, the 73-meter yacht was ranked as the largest all-aluminium vessel globally.
In 2009, SilverYachts shipyard launched M/Y SILVER ZWEI (now M/Y DRAGONFLY), which at 78 meters, took over the title of the world’s largest aluminium superyacht. M/Y DRAGONFLY is internationally recognized for its technical excellence and is one of the most active superyachts on the market. She cruises under the Cayman Islands flag.
